Maharashtra realty authority bill in the offing

The Government of Maharashtra is likely to introduce the Real Estate Regulatory Authority Bill in the winter session. This bill will function under the purview of the Maharashtra Ownership of Flats Act and will be an autonomous body with civil judicial powers to be headed by a retired judge or a magistrate. It can also be a redressal forum for developers as well as the end consumer.
