Three townships planned in North India

National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) has planned townships in Alwar, Gurgaon, and Khekra near Delhi. Each township will consist of 500-1,000 affordable housing units which will be ready by November. A Construction & Demolition (C&D) waste recycling plant was recently installed at the project site at East Kidwai Nagar, Delhi. The plant can process 150 tonne of C&D waste producing 30,000 bricks and also save Rs 3 crore on transportation cost of C&D waste material and Rs 6-7 crore as the materials become 30 per cent cheaper.
