EESL to install 1.8 mn smart meters

The Energy Efficiency Services (EESL) has signed two memoranda of understanding (MoU) with North Bihar Power Distribution Company and South Bihar Power Distribution Company to install 1.8 mn smart meters in 130 towns and adjacent rural areas in the state. The installation will take place in a fast-track mode.
