Fifteen smart city tenders issued in a month

India is indeed going all out for its Smart City Mission programme. The ULBs, which are de facto part of the newly established SPVs for every winning smart city have floated around 15 RFPs for their respective smart city elements. Tenders issued include smart transportation, project and programme management consultants, public bicycle system, sensor-based ITMS, greenfield smart cities, command and control centre, and smart city management unit.
