NDMC seeks Rs.1,800 cr fund

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is set to give a makeover to the national capital area with an ambitious Rs 1,800 crore Smart City plan. The area administered by NDMC under the plan will have 24 x 7 power and water supply, multilevel car parks and digitisation of schools and hospitals over the next four years. The NDMC will compete with 97 other cities for funds from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi´s pet Smart City Mission project.
