AP Government commissions outer ring road stretch

The Outer Ring Road project in Andhra Pradesh has launched phase II-B Patancheru to Shameerpet, a 71.30 km stretch, which is part of the 158 km project. The cost of this project is Rs 3,558 crore and will be implemented under six contract packages. The project was completed with loan assistance from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The outer ring road is connected to inner road network, which proves beneficial without getting into the city’s main networks. The construction cost of these three packages was estimated at Rs 1,224 crore.
