After Metro, Bengaluru set for High Speed Rail Link

The High Speed Rail Link (HSRL) project, aimed at providing faster access to Bengaluru International Airport, could well see the light of day with the state government asking the BMRCL (Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd) to implement the project with modifications. This project has been pending before the Union Urban Development Ministry for a while due to lack of clarity on the modalities of implementation of the project. With the project being handed over to the BMRCL, the decks have been cleared for the HSRL project.
