Centre approves enhanced cost for Ganga bridge

The Centre approved the enhanced cost estimate of Rs 2,774 crore for construction of a rail-cum-road bridge-over-river Ganga in Bihar. The cost will be shared by the Railways and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. The project will be completed in the current financial year and benefit the Munger, Khagaria, Saharsa and Bhagalpur districts of Bihar.
