Centre to build airport in Deogarh

The Union Cabinet decided to build an airport in Deogarh, Jharkhand. The airstrip would be constructed by the Airports Authority of India. Out of the total budget required for the construction, the centre will pay Rs 300 crore, while the state government would be paying around Rs 50 crore. The initial budget of the airport happens to be Rs 350 crore. However, if there is any increase in the budget it would be paid by the state government.
