A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the railway board and the Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) to beautify and redevelop Dehradun railway station. The project will be executed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.22 bn and will be completed in two-and-a-half years. The station redevelopment plan will include traffic control, multi-level parking, four-star hotel, check-in points, modernisation of police post and taxi stand, latest ticket and reservation counter with facilities, etc.
