Delhi Metro's first crossover viaduct

Delhi Metro has successfully completed the construction of its first crossover viaduct above the existing operational line at East Delhi's Karkardooma metro station in the east. The viaduct, which is 21 m above the ground, is one of the highest points in the Phase III network. The new metro line, which is part of the Mukundpur-Shiv Vihar corridor, crosses the existing Vaishali-Dwarka elevated line at 21 m above the ground. Also, the work was completed without disrupting passenger services.
