Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor gets boost from Japan

The $90 bn Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is all set to take off with a US$9-bn revolving fund being established for the project. The project will connect New Delhi with the business capital Mumbai through a mega infrastructure spread over 1,483 km. The DMIC project, being implemented by the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd, will see investments of over $100 bn and is seen as a flagship initiative of Indo-Japan partnership.
