Foundation stone to be laid for Rs.12 bn NH projects

Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road, Transport and Highways, will lay the foundation stone for highway projects in Uttar Pradesh worth Rs 12.24 bn. According to reports, Gadkari will also lay the foundation stone for the development of National Waterway-40. The projects include broadening of Ramjanaki Marg (NH-227A) from Ayodhya Cantt to Rampur (55 km) at Rs 3.15 bn, and 35 km from Rampur to Sikriganj at Rs 2.5 bn. Foundation stones for the Basti Ring Road Phase-1, the Badhni-Shoratganj section of NH-730, will also be laid.
