Govt approves three road projects worth Rs 3,597 cr
The Government has approved three road projects, costing Rs 3,597 crore, for Haryana, West Bengal and Jharkhand. The Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure (CCI) approved the implementation of the project of six laning of 122.880 km long Barwa Adda - Panagarh section on NH-2 in the States of Jharkhand and West Bengal. The toll project is under NHDP Phase V on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer mode (DBFOT).
Besides, the CCI approved a project of four-laning of Barasat - Krishnagar Section of NH-34 in West Bengal, under NHDP Phase III on DBFOT on the 'Annuity' mode.
