KMRL to develop 29 Roads

Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) has decided to undertake the repair works of 29 roads in the city and suburbs in order to develop the infrastructure facilities in the city. The list includes arterial as well as byroads. The estimated cost for the renovation work is Rs 31 crore, which will be pumped in by the KMRL and the state government. The project includes strengthening of the roads by using bitumen macadam and bitumen concrete (BM& BC) tarring and improvement of major junctions in the city. Contact: Kochi Metro Rail.
