Key freight sector initiatives inaugurated

Key freight sector initiatives were inaugurated by Minister of Railways Suresh Prabhu at the National Rail Museum in New Delhi. These include policy of 'long-term contracts' with major customers, confirmation trial of double stack dwarf container train under wire: a new delivery model, the demonstration run of 'Roll on-Roll off' service across NCR: a pilot project of the Railways to reduce road congestion, and the Indian Railways Freight and Passenger Business Action Plan 2017-18.
