KoPT plans Rs 20 bn port projects

Kolkata Port Trust (KoPT) will develop container terminal facilities at Diamond Harbour, besides some other projects, at a total cost of around Rs 2,000 crore. The capacity of the container facility will be 1.10 mn TEU. The other projects planned include operation and maintenance of NSD berth no.s 4 and 5 at Kolkata Dock System and berth no. 11 at Haldia Dock Complex through PPP mode on a DBFOT basis.Contact: Kolkata Port Trust.Tel: 033-2230 3451.
