By April, passengers flying out of the Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru may pay a higher User Development Fee (UDF) as the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority is reviewing a new fee proposal by the airport´s operators. New Indian airports under the PPP model charge UDF only to departing passengers to construct, manage and operate the airport. The airport economic regulator allows such PPP airports to revise their UDF every five years.
