The newly appointed Ministry of State for Civil Aviation has indicated that the government might change the existing rule of a second airport not being allowed within 150 km of an existing airport. The ministry also stressed upon the need for another international airport in the NCR for which around 2,378 acre have been acquired in Jewar.
