Pipavav to build Rs 1,000 cr dry dock in Gujarat

Pipavav Shipyard is constructing a new dry dock in Gujarat, which is likely to be the world's biggest dock to undertake repair and maintenance of vessels operating in the region. The construction work will begin in the next two months and is estimated to cost Rs 1,000 crore. The dock will be 680 m in length and about 60 m wide. PSL already has a dry dock that has been converted from a wet dock and measures about 662 m in length and 65 m in width.
