Pune-Satara highway becomes operational
Reliance Infrastructure (R-Infra) has developed the six lane road project of 140 km on Pune-Satara highway. The road is a part of the Golden Quadrilateral project. The project began with the operations of the toll collection booths and widening of the roads existing four lanes to six lanes.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had awarded the project to R-Infra on design, engineering, finance, construction, operation and maintenance basis. It was valued at Rs 1984.77 crore. The contract entailed a concession period of 24 years.
