Rameswaram's Pamban Bridge to be renovated

The Pamban Road Bridge, constructed across the sea, connecting the Rameswaram Island with main land, is to be renovated at Rs 15.5 crore. The renovation of the 2.5 km long ‘Annai Indira Gandhi Bridge’, built in 1987, will include parking facility on both sides of the bridge for tourists and the panoramic view of the sea.
