Revised RFP invited for KIAL
Kannur International Airport (KIAL) has invited revised requests for proposal (RFP) from integrated airport project consultants for promoting a greenfield airport in north Kerala. The proposed airport demands consultants to be capable of incorporating the green energy concept. The consultant is also required to provide targeted advisory services covering a multitude of airport-related disciplines.
The Civil Aviation Ministry has given in-principle approval for the project. Of the 1,284 acre required for the project, about 959.7 acre has been acquired at Mattannur. The remaining land is expected to be acquired soon.
