Rs 2,870 cr rail projects progressing in Karnataka

Seven projects amounting to about Rs 2,870 crore, by the Railways and the Karnataka Government are in various stages of implementation in Karnataka. These include a 65-km new line between Kuttur and Harihar, the Rs 225 crore Shimoga-Talguppa gauge conversion project, the first phase of 57 km from Shimoga to Anandapuram and the second phase of 40 km from Anandapuram to Talguppa.
