Work on the much-delayed Mundka-Bahadurgarh corridor in Delhi is inching forward. Around 30 per cent of work on the line has been completed. The pace is expected to pick up once land acquisition issues are sorted out. Last year, Delhi Metro started ´preparatory´ activities for the construction of the Metro corridor connecting Bahadurgarh with west Delhi´s Mundka. According to the detailed project report (DPR), once the corridor is inaugurated-scheduled for March 2016 - the distance between Bahadurgarh and Mundka will be covered in just 20 minutes. The foundation stone for the project was laid in February 2013. Contact: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Tel: 011-2341 7910. Fax: 011-2341 7921. Website: www.delhimetrorail.com
