Telangana pushes for better road connectivity

The Telangana Government has allocated Rs 4,980 crore to transport, roads and building and Rs 2,421 crore to Panchayat Raj roads to improve the road network for fast pacing economic growth. The R&B is maintaining total road network in the state that stands at 26,837 km. The plan will mainly focus on laying new roads, construction of new bridges, widening and existing of strengthening of existing roads to the present traffic levels and maintenance and road safety engineering works.
