Up Government announces new airport at Jewar

The Uttar Pradesh government will establish a new international airport in the NCR region at Jewar near Greater Noida. This will be the third international airport in the NCR region, as Centre had granted site clearance to Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC), for setting up of a greenfield airport for public use near Bhiwadi in Alwar district of Rajasthan in November this year.
