NCB Seminar on Durability and Service Life Design

Date: April 7, 2017. Venue: National Council for Cement and Building Materials, Delhi. The aim of the seminar on 'Durability and Service Life Design' is to highlight the importance of durability and the service life design concept of concrete structures with respect to India´s environmental conditions, and will bring out available knowledge and help engineers gain confidence. Durability and service life design of concrete structures - review of international and Indian codes or guidelines, assessment of durability, performance of reinforced concrete through test methods, service life modelling and prevention, protection, repair and retrofitting are the themes to be covered elaborately. Research papers relevant to the themes are invited. Professionals from cement, concrete and construction industries, students, academicians, construction and design engineers, management officials, and persons related to concrete and construction can participate in the seminar.
