Panel to took into cement factories' pollution

A seven-member committee has been formed by the Jammu and Kashmir government to look into environmental pollution caused by cement factories.

The panel, headed by Commissioner, Industries and Commerce Department, will undertake a study on all the cement factories in the state to assess the environmental pollution they are causing, Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, Secretary to Government, General Administration Department, said.
