Siemens’ Industry Automation division has added Foundation Fieldbus certified communication to the Sitrans LR250 radar level transmitter. Sitrans LR250 is complete with enhanced EDD (electronic device description) and is equipped with a quick start wizard for rapid transmission. Sitrans LR250 is also available with either Hart or Profibus PA communications. This compact plug-and-play, 25 Gigahertz 2-wire device – Sitrans LR250, is an easy to install and quick to configure radar transmitter available today. The transmitter can be used in general applications, but is also suitable for chemical, pharmaceutical and hydrocarbon processing applications, including corrosive environments. Contact: Siemens.
