Mumbai, 23 December 2022: Organised by FIRST Construction Council in conjuncture with Construction World and Infrastructure Today magazines, the 6th edition of MAKE IN STEEL CONFERENCE & AWARDS to be held on 10th February 2023 in New Delhi, presents a full day of live conference content, and an interactive networking opportunity with the best in the business.
The conference will be followed by an inspiring MAKE IN STEEL AWARDS, voted by the eminent Jury members, presented to steel manufacturers across large and medium categories. Pratap Padode, Founder & President, FIRST Construction Council believes that a healthy dialogue within the industry is needed to set the course for the future. He believes that, "India's economic growth has a great upside in terms of capacity and per capita consumption of steel. Decarbonising steps reflect the maturity of the industry and its long-term sustainability. The government needs to balance the need for the domestic industry to grow vis-a-vis the international prices such that other dependent industries in India are not bearing the burden."
