Eknath Shinde, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, has announced that the Centre has approved Rs 2 trillion for 225 development projects in the state. He denied allegations that the state was outbid for another project. Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray claimed that Maharashtra lost five projects in the last three months due to the state government's incompetence, saying that no project enters and exits a state in three months.

Calling these as merely allegations, Thackeray added that the Government of Maharashtra welcomes and supports businesses, and the state will be receiving major projects in the coming days. The Prime Minister of India has also assured the Maharashtra government that major projects will be brought to the state, creating a large number of jobs.
