ICEMA eyes Bengal govt infrastructure projects

Members of the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers' Association (ICEMA) are eagerly looking to enhance their involvement in various infrastructure development initiatives led by the West Bengal government. Their intent is to collaborate with Bengal government agencies, including the Public Works Department (PWD) and municipal bodies, by offering technology-driven solutions in construction and equipment sectors.

E L Kiran Babu, Vice President of Marketing at SCHWING Stetter, affirmed their commitment, stating, "We are prepared to assist Bengal government agencies with our technology-based solutions for construction and equipment needs. We have already delivered presentations and are keen to understand their specific requirements, for which we can provide tailored solutions."

Sucharita Basu, Chairperson of CII West Bengal Council and Managing Partner of AQUILAW, emphasized the significance of infrastructural development in a densely populated city like Kolkata. She added, "The evolving landscape includes the redevelopment of an elevated road network, with flyovers being constructed at major traffic intersections. Our goal is to drive the advancement of Bengal's infrastructure by deploying cutting-edge technologies and cost-effective solutions." The collaborative efforts of industry leaders and government agencies aim to propel Bengal's infrastructure development to new heights.
