J Kumar Infraprojects has begun construction on three composite girders measuring 56 m in length for the 15.18 km Mumbai Metro Line-6 (Pink Line) project, which will connect Swami Samarth Nagar (Lokhandwala) to Vikhroli via 13 elevated stations.
The 240MT girders were installed at JVLR Junction above the Western Express Highway (WEH), and Line-7 is finished but not yet operational for the project's Package BC-03.
In August 2018, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) awarded J Kumar - CRTG JV the Rs. 8.67 billion contract for Package BC-03.
Construction of a 6.079 km viaduct from chainage – 822.5 m to 5257.4 m, with five stops at Swami Samarth Nagar (Lokhandwala), Adarsh Nagar, Jogeshwari (W), JVLR, and Shyam Nagar (Majas Depot), is included in their scope.
