Pune-Nashik high-speed train service receives approval from the centre

The Pune-Nashik high-speed rail project has received "in principle clearance," according to Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister, Maharashtra. Following a meeting with Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Railway Minister, Fadnavis announced the statement.

The Pune-Nashik high-speed railway project has received preliminary approval, which the Maharashtra deputy chief minister thanked the railway minister for.

He stated that representatives from Maharashtra and the railway ministry will evaluate the project technically before submitting the proposal to the Union Cabinet for approval.

"Cities like Nashik and Pune are significant culturally and economically for Maharashtra. It would be our goal to make these two cities rail-connected, "added Vaishnaw.

The railway minister stated, "We had a thorough discussion on the technical issues of the project and will now move forward."

High-speed rail between Pune and Nashik, according to Fadnavis, will promote growth and offer seamless connectivity to the industrial areas of both cities.
