The construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Level Crossing No 8-Spl in Para was approved by the Ministry of Railways and the Uttar Pradesh government. It was announced that the ROB project would be jointly funded by the Ministry of Railways and the state government, with the total cost approved being Rs 1.75 billion. Rekha Sharma, who serves as the senior divisional commercial manager at Northern Railways, Lucknow, stated that the project encompassed the construction of a two-lane flyover and an underpass on both the bypass line and main line. She further mentioned that once the project was completed, it would provide a direct route from Para to Rajajipuram via the flyover. According to the railways, it was mentioned that local residents would no longer need to wait when the railway gate was closed due to train operations. Furthermore, it was noted that the Para underpass would facilitate easier travel for residents of Para village towards the Jalalganj underpass. Approximately 3,00,000 people are expected to benefit significantly from this project, as a multitude of vehicles commuting to and from Rajajipuram would experience enhanced convenience. This information was conveyed in a press release issued by Rajnath Singh, MP, Lucknow. The statement emphasised that the rail crossing served as a vital junction for both the Lucknow-Moradabad and Alamnagar-Utrathiya train routes. It was highlighted that the frequent closure of this railway crossing due to heavy train traffic had been a persistent issue. The construction of this project was seen not only as a promise of relief for residents and students from traffic congestion but also as having the potential to reduce pollution, boost economic growth, save time, and conserve fuel.
