Sansera Engineering Limited has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Karnataka government to expand its manufacturing capacity in Ramanagara. The Rs 21 b investment aims to bolster both the automotive and non-automotive sectors.
The investment, spread over three to five years, will develop a 55-acre facility in Harohalli, Ramanagara. This expansion is expected to generate approximately 3,500 direct and indirect jobs, significantly enhancing the local economy.
Sansera's new facility is projected to boost manufacturing capacity by around Rs 30 billion, contributing to India's export growth. Additionally, a training center will be established to enhance local workforce skills, promoting talent development and employment opportunities.
Founded in 1981, Bengaluru-headquartered Sansera Engineering specializes in precision-engineered components for automotive and non-automotive sectors. Their automotive products include critical components like connecting rods, rocker arms, crankshafts, and gear shifter forks, essential for various vehicle systems. In the non-automotive sector, Sansera supplies precision components for aerospace, off-road, agriculture, and other industries.
