Adopt decarbonisation measures: World Cement Association

The World Cement Association (WCA) has presented its plans for decarbonisation of the global cement industry for the sustainable development of the sector.
The WCA has urged the use of alternative raw materials and fuels to reduce the generation of carbon dioxide, waste heat recovery systems and clean energy such as solar and wind power, innovation and management optimisation, and adoption of carbon capture technology to recycle CO2.
