ACC, Ambuja Cement and UltraTech Cement have reported an increase in production of between 7-11 per cent in December 2011. While production at UltraTech grew 10.8 per cent to 3.77 mn tonne, ACC reported a growth of 6.28 per cent to 2.03 mn tonne and Ambuja, 1.91 mn tonne, up 6.81 per cent. UltraTech’s despatches for the month grew to 3.62 mn tonne, up by 10.5 per cent, while for ACC and Ambuja, despatches were 8.85 per cent and 5.75 per cent, respectively, to 2.09 mn tonne and 1.82 mn tonne.
