Cement companies resume operations with minimal production

Following the relaxation in Covid-19 restrictions to continuous process industries, cement companies are in the process of resuming operations across the country, although these are primarily limited to dispatch and sales, with minimal production activity.Companies such as UltraTech Cement, Dalmia Bharat Cement and Heidelberg Cement India, have reported partial operations being resumed at some of the companies' plants. Others like Shree Cement, Ambuja Cements, JSW Cement, and JK Cement are reportedly in the process of obtaining permissions.
