JSW Cement to double the capacity of its Salboni unit

JSW Cement is planning to double the capacity of its Salboni unit in West Bengal to 4.8 mtpa from
2.4 mtpa in order to strengthen its presence in eastern India. The investment required for the capacity addition is expected to be firmed up soon. With the Salboni plant being inaugurated in January 2018, JSW Cement already has a distribution network of over 3,700 dealers and retailers in West Bengal.
