UltraTech contributes over 75% to Grasim's topline

Of the Grasim Industries' Rs 6,551.91 crore consolidated revenue, UltraTech Cement contributed over 75 per cent at Rs 4,970 crore during the September 2012 quarter. A 19 per cent YoY growth by UltraTech and 9 per cent growth in other segments resulted in Grasim's consolidated revenues increasing by 16 per cent. The firm's operating margin in the cement business in September 2011 rose from 14.9 per cent to 21.4 per cent in the same month this year.
