Dalmia Cement plans to increase its installed cement production capacity in Eastern India by 4.8 mtpa. The company plans to implement a capacity expansion of 2.3 mtpa at the grinding plant in Odisha and 2.5 mtpa at the grinding plant in Bihar. The producer’s cement capacity will be 40 mtpa post the completion of the upgrades. The Odisha plant upgradation will be completed by 2021 and Bihar upgradation by 2023. The company also plans to announce capital expenditure investments to support the newly acquired Murli Industries.
