Line II of UltraTech Cement's Bara Grinding Unit is now operational in Uttar Pradesh

UltraTech Cement has announced the commissioning of Line II of the Bara Grinding Unit in Uttar Pradesh, India, with a capacity of 2 mtpa of cement. Line I was completed in January 2020 and is currently operating at a capacity utilisation rate of more than 80 per cent. This expanded capacity will aid the company in meeting the rapidly increasing cement demand in the country's central area. In addition to this growth, the company has commissioned 3.2 mtpa of new cement capacity for the financial year 2021-22, bringing its total cement manufacturing capacity in India to 114.55 mtpa.
