UltraTech Cement is the preferred bidder for Ravur Limestone

UltraTech Cement has been named the preferred bidder after competing in the Government of Karnataka's e-auction of Ravur Limestone Block. The block is situated in Tehsil Chitt Kalburgi, Karnataka. The block has a total geological resource of 708 million tonne of limestone over an area of 7.13 sq km. The company's consolidated net profit increased 0.3 per cent to Rs.13.135 bn in Q2 FY22 over Q2 FY21, to a 15.7 percent growth in net sales to Rs.120.16 bn. UltraTech Cement, part of the Aditya Birla Group, is the third-largest cement producer outside China, and the largest in India by installed capacity.
