According to Knight Frank India, the gross floor area of LEED-certified buildings across seven cities has been recorded at 39,539,770 sq ft during the January to October 2022 period.
NCR recorded a 9,854,680 sq ft gross floor area of LEED-certified buildings, the highest amongst the top seven Indian cities during the same period. Bengaluru recorded the second-highest gross floor area of LEED-certified buildings with 9,010,595 sq ft followed by Chennai with 5,595,722 sq ft.
Investors are increasingly considering sustainable, ethical, and responsible business practices into account when evaluating the risk and performance of a company.
