Hitachi launches ZW100-6 wheel loader for lighter work

Hitachi launched the new ZW100-6 wheel loader well-suited for lighter jobs, comprising earthmoving, excavation, landscaping, and utility work. The wheel loader is small and powerful with a working weight of 17,042 pounds. It is powered by a Deutz engine, which satisfies Tier 4 Final emissions needs via a particular catalytic reduction system. The catalytic reduction system inserts urea into exhaust gas to decrease nitrous-oxide from emissions and eradicates the requirement for a diesel particulate filter. The fuel- efficient machine has a maximum hinge pin height of 11 ft 6 and a bucket capacity of 1.4 cubic yards.
