JLG launches self-levelling boom lift

JLG has launched the JLG 670SJ self-levelling boom lift, which can automatically level itself on slopes up to 10 degrees in any direction while driving. Under the machine, four independent axles, each managed by smart hydraulic cylinders, allows each wheel to individually follow the contour of the terrain and stay in constant contact with the ground. It enables the machine to continuously self-level without needing operator inputs, and navigate uneven terrain while driving at height from one job to another without lowering the boom. It also decreases or eliminates the prep work — grading or making cribbing — needed to level the work area, so the lifts can begin first thing in the morning.
