Excon 2013| Propelling Indian construction sector

South Asia´s biggest exhibition for Construction Equipment (CE) Excon 2013 added to the rising optimistic outlook to aid growth and innovation in India´s construction sector.

Organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Excon 2013 was held from 20-24 November at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bangalore. While inaugurating the event, Oscar Fernandes, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India appreciated the higher participation level of companies from India and abroad at Excon 2013 over its last edition, notwithstanding the fact that it is taking place during an economic downturn in India and across the globe.

In line with the theme ´Propelling Sustainable Infrastructure Growth´, the seventh edition of Excon witnessed a wide range of new product launches with participation of over 730 exhibitors from 18 countries and country pavilions from Germany, Japan, Italy, Turkey, South Korea, Sweden and China.
