Income tax officials on January 10 carried out searches on 46 premises of real estate developers in Gujarat, including a joint venture partner of Pacifica real estate group.
An I-T official said that a total of 46 premises of real estate developers in Vadodara and Ahmedabad, including, Madrid, a joint venture partner of Pacifica real estate group and sub-groups are being searched simultaneously for tax evasion in the day.
Around 200 personnel, including policemen, have been deployed in the extensive search and seizure operation.
